Self Advocacy

There are various Governor appointed Boards and Commissions considering the political and financial decisions that directly impact people with Disabilities.
When a person with a disability becomes a member of one of these councils, gives testimony during a legislative session, or demonstrates in a particular political arena, this is commonly referred to as Self Advocacy.

Community Resources offers personalized accommodations for people who participate as Self Advocates around Washington state.

We provide personal attendant care and assistance that enables a person to successfully navigate air travel, driving, staying in a hotel, reading and understanding written material, and enjoying social networking opportunities with colleagues.

We are committed to our values regarding confidentiality, and service focused on your individual direction.

Community Resources is available for contracting with:
  • State agencies
  • Governor Appointed Boards and Commissions
  • Individuals who wish to private pay.
